Ziarat Valley Development Authority reviews future plans in third governing body meeting

 

Quetta, The third meeting of the Governing Body of the Ziarat Valley Development Authority (ZVDA) was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Commodity Management Department, Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar.

 

Members of the Governing Body and relevant officials attended the session, which discussed key matters related to ZVDA, including development of the valley, promotion of tourism, improvement of infrastructure, and provision of better facilities to the public.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Dummar said Ziarat is one of Balochistan’s most important tourist destinations, rich in natural beauty. He emphasized that maintaining its charm while ensuring modern facilities for both tourists and local residents is a top priority of the provincial government. He added that through ZVDA, effective measures will be taken for sustainable planning and development of the area.

 

The minister directed officials to ensure quality, transparency, and public interest in all development projects, stressing that initiatives must be completed within the stipulated timeframe through effective strategies.

 

The meeting also reviewed Ziarat’s ongoing development activities and discussed the authority’s future roadmap. Officials briefed the minister on various matters, highlighting progress and upcoming plans.

 

Dummar reiterated that Ziarat’s development is not only vital for the local population but also for the promotion of tourism across Balochistan. He assured that the government will continue practical steps, utilizing available resources to transform Ziarat into a more developed and tourist-friendly destination.
