Zahoor Buledi pays tribute to teachers on World Teachers’ Day, stresses importance of quality education in Balochistan
Senior Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi has paid glowing tribute to teachers across the country, particularly in Balochistan, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, acknowledging their role as nation‑builders and architects of the future.
Zahoor Buledi said teachers’ hard work and guidance lay the foundation for a brighter future, adding that education is the key to progress and a vital source of prosperity for society. He emphasized that sustainable development in Balochistan is not possible without the promotion of quality education and ensuring access to schooling for every child must remain the government’s foremost priority.
He noted that teachers not only impart knowledge but also play a fundamental role in shaping the character of students and preparing them to become responsible citizens. Providing educators with essential facilities and a conducive teaching environment, he said, is an urgent need of the time.
Zahoor Buledi stressed that educated youth represent the bright future of Balochistan, and investment in education is essentially an investment in the province’s future. “A strong and quality education system is the guarantee of a developed, conscious, and prosperous society,” he remarked.
He further said that respect for teachers should not be confined to a single day but must be a permanent responsibility of society. “The role of teachers in nation‑building has always been fundamental and unforgettable,” Buledi added.
