Shahid Rind commends security forces for successful operation near Kalat
Quetta, Aide to the Chief Minister Balochistan on Media and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind, has commended the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists near Kalat, which resulted in the elimination of five militants and the safe recovery of 23 abducted individuals.
According to details, the forces carried out a timely and effective action, thwarting terrorists’ attempts to disrupt public movement along the national highway. The operation also foiled plots involving kidnapping for ransom, extortion, and vehicle snatching.
From the terrorists’ hideout, security forces recovered six trucks, three buses, and two vehicles, along with a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
Shahid Rind praised the professional capabilities and swift response of the security forces, describing the operation as a major success in the fight against terrorism. He emphasized that state institutions and the people stand united in this struggle, and vowed that operations will continue with full force to ensure peace and protect the lives and property of citizens.
He further noted that decisive measures are being taken to eliminate terrorism, particularly those backed by foreign sponsorship and facilitation, reaffirming the government’s commitment to lasting stability in Balochistan.
