Shaheed Hidayatullah Buledi Career Counseling Academy, Technical Training Center and Public Library inaugurated in Surab
In line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and under BSDI Phase-II, a landmark initiative has been launched in Surab to provide youth with education, modern skills, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities. The newly established Shaheed Hidayatullah Buledi Career Counseling Academy, Technical Training Center, and Public Library was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Surab Sahibzada Najeebullah and Colonel Syed Fakhar Rafiq Talha, Commander FC Balochistan 61 Wing, who formally cut the ribbon and offered prayers at the ceremony.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Salman Ali Buledi, Principal Degree College Surab Amanullah Zehri, Assistant Commissioner Gidar Abdul Jabbar Bugti, DSP Surab Bilawal Ahmed Muhammad Hassani, district officials, teachers, students, journalists, and a large number of citizens.
In their addresses, Deputy Commissioner Najeebullah and ADC Salman Ali Buledi highlighted the center’s importance, describing it as a transformative platform for Sorab’s youth. Teachers and students also shared their views, calling the initiative highly beneficial and a timely response to the needs of the younger generation.
The center offers free career counseling, preparation for CSS and PCS examinations, a public library with more than 700 books, a modern IT lab with free internet and Wi-Fi, freelancing opportunities, and technical training courses. For women, specialized courses in beautician training and dressmaking have been introduced to promote economic empowerment.
According to the administration, the purpose of the center is to provide Sorab’s youth with access to modern education and skill development, enabling them to secure employment and start businesses, while also empowering women through vocational training.
