Senior Citizens Council praises launch of Jinnah Peoples Train Service

Quetta, Chairperson of the Balochistan Senior Citizen Welfare Council, Ahmad Ali Durrani, has lauded the personal and sincere efforts of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti for the launch of the Jinnah Peoples Metro Train Service in Quetta, terming it a significant step towards improving travel facilities for the city’s residents.

He said the initiative deserves special appreciation, particularly the announcement of free travel facilities for senior citizens, which reflects the government’s commitment to public welfare. Ahmad Ali Durrani noted that under the Senior Citizen Welfare Act 2017, the provision of free travel facilities for elderly citizens will always be remembered as a landmark decision.

He expressed hope that the Chief Minister, with the support and guidance of the Senior Citizen Welfare Council, will continue to prioritize the welfare of senior citizens and address their challenges through effective planning and legislation.
