Secretary Labour and Manpower reviews Kharaan Technical Training Center performance under PPP model
A performance review meeting of the Technical Training Center Kharaan, operating under the Public-Private Partnership model, was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Labour and Manpower, Saleh Muhammad Nasar.
The meeting assessed the center’s current status, administrative affairs, training facilities, and the provision of technical education to youth. Proposals were discussed to modernize the institution, enhance its performance, and expand vocational training opportunities.
Briefings highlighted ways to strengthen the administrative and training systems of the PPP-based center. Secretary Saleh Muhammad Nasar emphasized that, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, skill development for youth is a top government priority. He directed officials to prepare actionable recommendations to transform the center into an effective hub of modern technical training.
The meeting also underscored the importance of introducing market-driven courses, enabling youth to secure employment locally, nationally, and abroad. Secretary Saleh Nasar noted that activating and strengthening technical training institutions can play a decisive role in empowering the younger generation and creating sustainable livelihoods.
