Secretary C&W reviews Balochistan High Court expansion project, orders timely completion
Secretary Communications and Works (C&W) Balochistan, Babar Khan, conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing expansion project of the Balochistan High Court building. He was accompanied by Chief Engineer Quetta Zone Abdul Rahim Bangulzai, Chief Architect Dr. Sohrab Marri, Executive Engineer Buildings Kachlak Division Umar Munir, and senior officials from relevant departments.
During the visit, the Secretary was briefed on the overall progress of construction, architectural design, technical aspects, challenges faced, and the proposed timeline for completion. Officials also updated him on the quality of materials being used and the next phases of the project.
Babar Khan inspected various sections of the site, reviewing construction standards, pace of work, and resource utilization. He directed officers to ensure that no negligence or delay is tolerated and that all tasks are completed strictly according to schedule.
He emphasized that the expansion project holds great importance, as its completion will provide modern and improved facilities to litigants, lawyers, and court staff. He reiterated that timely completion of the project is among the government’s top priorities, urging all departments to work in close coordination and fulfill their responsibilities efficiently.
Issuing strict instructions, the Secretary ordered that construction activities be accelerated and carried out round‑the‑clock to meet deadlines. He stressed that the available time is extremely limited, and therefore engineers, officers, and staff must exert their full capacity. He warned that any negligence, complacency, or compromise on quality would be unacceptable.
He further directed that continuous monitoring of both pace and quality be ensured so that the project is completed on time and to the highest standards.
