Recruitment of 349 personnel completed in District Police Quetta with merit and transparency ensured

 

The recruitment process for 349 new personnel in District Police Quetta has been successfully completed, ensuring merit and transparency throughout.

 

According to news release, the recruitment was carried out under the supervision of Additional IGP and Commandant Balochistan Constabulary Ashfaq Ahmed and Deputy Commandant DIG Police Shehla Qureshi, with strict adherence to rules and regulations. Equal opportunities were provided to all candidates, and the process was monitored by senior police authorities to guarantee fairness at every stage.

 

Out of the total recruits, 298 were selected under the general male cadre quota, 44 under the ladies quota, and 7 under the minority quota, making up a total of 349 personnel inducted into District Police Quetta.

 

Police officials stated that merit, transparency, and prescribed procedures were the guiding principles of the recruitment process. The inclusion of new personnel will strengthen the force, enhance its organization, and improve its operational capacity. With the addition of fresh recruits, District Police Quetta will be better equipped to maintain law and order, prevent crime, protect lives and property, and fulfill other policing responsibilities more effectively.

 

Authorities emphasized that maintaining merit and transparency in police recruitment across Balochistan remains a fundamental principle, ensuring that capable and deserving youth are provided opportunities to serve. The induction of 349 new personnel will provide District Police Quetta with a revitalized and more active workforce dedicated to safeguarding citizens and upholding peace.
