Quetta Administration reviews flour prices and development schemes

Quetta, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini chaired a meeting of district administration officers to review measures for controlling flour prices, strengthening price control operations, and monitoring the progress of ongoing development schemes in the city.

Officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the availability of flour in the market and its pricing situation. DC Badini directed officers to ensure strict enforcement of government-fixed rates and take indiscriminate action against violators. He emphasized that providing essential commodities at official prices is a top priority of the district administration, and therefore price control operations must be expanded and intensified on a daily basis.

The Deputy Commissioner also instructed continuous monitoring of development schemes in Quetta, stressing that project quality, pace, and timely completion must be ensured. He directed officers to conduct regular field inspections and maintain close oversight of all schemes.

He urged administrative officers to perform their duties with diligence and efficiency, ensuring the immediate resolution of public issues, effective price control, and strict supervision of development projects.
