Quetta Administration arrests 11 shopkeepers in price control drive
On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and instructions of Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini, Assistant Commissioner Quetta City Muhammad Amir Hamza and Magistrate Ejaz Hussain Khosa carried out price control operations in Satellite Town, Mini Market, and Double Road.
During the crackdown, nine tandoor owners and two butchers were arrested for selling goods above the official rates and profiteering.
The administration made it clear that indiscriminate actions will continue to ensure the supply of essential commodities at fixed prices, maintain price stability, and protect consumer rights.
