Provincial Education Minister welcomes Science and Arts Exhibition at Quetta Girls College

 

Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani praised the organization of a Science and Arts Exhibition at Government Girls Degree College, Kuarri Road, Quetta, describing it as a vital initiative to enhance students’ creativity, scientific thinking, and self-confidence.

 

The event was attended by Professor Muhammad Hussain Bakhsh Baloch (Director Colleges), Ms. Saeeda Niaz (Joint Director Colleges), and Ms. Sadia Farooqi (Education Specialist). The dignitaries reviewed the scientific and creative projects presented by the students and commended their efforts.

 

Addressing the participants, Minister Durrani highlighted that the girls of Balochistan possess immense talent and that providing them with opportunities and a conducive environment to showcase their abilities remains a top priority of the provincial government. She emphasized that through science and arts activities, students can be aligned with modern educational requirements while fostering research, creativity, and practical experimentation.

 

She noted that the scientific models and experimental projects displayed at the exhibition reflected the students’ hard work, competence, and innovative skills. The Minister further stated that the Education Department is committed to improving educational standards, ensuring quality learning opportunities for female students, and promoting constructive extracurricular activities in institutions across the province.

 

Minister Raheela Durrani congratulated the college administration, faculty, and students on successfully organizing the exhibition. On the occasion, the Principal of Government Girls Degree College Kuarri Road remarked that the institution regularly organizes academic and extracurricular activities to highlight students’ intellectual, scientific, and creative abilities. She added that the purpose of the Science and Arts Exhibition was to provide students with a platform to express their talents while encouraging them towards research, experimentation, and practical learning.
