Minister Zahoor Buledi extends Independence Day greetings, stresses unity and development in Balochistan
Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation, particularly the people of Balochistan, on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day. He said that August 14 is not only a celebration of freedom but also an opportunity to renew the national pledge of unity and commitment.
Zahoor Buledi emphasized that Balochistan is an integral and inseparable part of Pakistan, and its people have played a vital role in the country’s security, stability, and progress since independence. He noted that addressing the province’s deprivations, providing better opportunities for youth, and promoting sustainable development are collective responsibilities.
Highlighting Balochistan’s vast natural resources, coastline, mineral wealth, and talented youth, Buledi said these assets can serve as key drivers of Pakistan’s economic growth. He stressed that the benefits of these resources must reach the province’s people, ensuring that development outcomes improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
The minister described Balochistan’s youth as a valuable asset, underscoring the importance of education, employment, modern skills, and entrepreneurial opportunities to integrate them more effectively into national development. He added that peace, political stability, and economic growth are interconnected, and all political and social forces must work together to achieve these goals.
Zahoor Buledi remarked that Independence Day reminds the nation that despite differences, everyone must unite for the sake of national interest, the Constitution, democracy, and Pakistan’s unity.
