Investment Board Vice Chairman praises merit initiative of CM Balochistan
Quetta, Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Investment Board Bilal Khan Kakar has described Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s move to administer an oath to the bureaucracy against the sale of jobs as a historic and commendable development.
In his statement, Bilal Khan Kakar said the initiative marks a significant step toward transparency, merit, and good governance, restoring youth confidence in public institutions. He emphasized that employment opportunities must be based on competence and capability rather than recommendations or financial interests, ensuring fairness for all.
He noted that Balochistan’s youth are the province’s most valuable asset, and it is the government’s responsibility to provide them with equal opportunities to progress according to their abilities. He added that the sale of jobs not only constitutes injustice to young people but also undermines the performance and credibility of institutions.
Bilal Khan Kakar further stated that the Chief Minister’s clear policy reflects a strong resolve to establish a fair and just system. He said that merit-based appointments will improve institutional performance, enhance public trust, and inspire youth to work hard and strive for success.
