IGP Balochistan reviews security arrangements during visit to training College and Police Stations

 

Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, conducted a detailed visit to the Police Training College, New Sariab Police Station, Mahmood‑ur‑Rehman Sariab Police Station, Qasim Lines, and the ATF Complex at Eastern Bypass. The purpose of the visit was to review security measures and other administrative arrangements.

 

At the Police Training College, Commandant Dr. Farhan Zahid briefed the IGP on various matters, including security protocols and ongoing training activities. The IGP emphasized the need to further strengthen security and ensure necessary measures are in place. He highlighted that quality training and enhanced professional skills of police personnel play a pivotal role in maintaining law and order.

 

Muhammad Tahir instructed relevant officers to make security and administrative arrangements more effective, reiterating that maintaining peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens are the fundamental responsibilities of Balochistan Police. He added that the force is not only committed to stability and peace but also actively engaged in combating crime across the province.

 

The IGP was accompanied by DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat, SSP Operations Quetta Zia‑ul‑Haq Mandokhail, and other senior officers during the visit.
