Governor Mandokhail announces launch of Gerry’s Visa Courier Service in Quetta
Karachi, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has announced that Gerry’s Visa Courier Service will soon formally begin operations in Quetta, a development he described as the result of his special efforts to provide greater public convenience and strengthen international connectivity.
Speaking during a meeting in Karachi with Gerry’s Visa Courier Service officials Akram Wali and Jahandad Khan, the Governor said the establishment of the service in Quetta marks a significant step forward in facilitating citizens, students, traders, and travelers. He emphasized that the initiative will enhance access to international services and boost business activities in the province.
Governor Mandokhail explained that with the launch of Gerry’s Visa Courier Service, residents of Quetta and other districts of Balochistan will be able to submit visa applications and related documents locally. These will then be securely delivered to embassies and consulates in more than 50 countries, including destinations in Europe, America, Asia, and beyond.
Previously, applicants had to travel to major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad to avail these services, incurring additional expenses, time, and inconvenience. The Governor noted that the new facility will save citizens both time and money while ensuring reliable access to visa and courier services.
He expressed confidence that the initiative will prove highly beneficial for the people of Balochistan, particularly students, businesspersons, and overseas travelers, and will play an important role in further integrating the province at national and international levels.
