Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail returns after successful US visit, highlights youth, AI, and investment opportunities
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has returned to Pakistan after completing a successful official visit to the United States, where he represented the country and Balochistan at international forums and engaged with the Pakistani diaspora and business community.
During his visit, Governor Jaffar Mandokhail addressed the Global Leadership Summit on Youth and Artificial Intelligence at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He highlighted the importance of equipping Balochistan’s youth with quality education and modern skills in artificial intelligence, stressing that this is essential for their active role in the province’s development and progress.
Jaffar Mandokhail underscored that Pakistan and Balochistan’s youth have the potential to contribute significantly to national growth, and their voices were effectively projected at the global level during the summit. He noted that the visit marked a major step forward in creating new opportunities for youth development aligned with modern global trends.
The Governor also praised the Pakistani community in the United States for their enthusiastic celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day, describing it as a testament to their enduring love for the homeland despite being thousands of miles away.
During the visit, Jaffar Mandokhail held meetings with Pakistani traders and business leaders, encouraging international investors to take advantage of the profitable investment opportunities available in Pakistan and Balochistan. He emphasized that foreign investment could play a vital role in boosting economic activity and prosperity in the province.
Governor Jaffar Mandokhail was accompanied by prominent Pakistani businessman Tanveer Ahmed and Uzair Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Maxam. Their presence underscored the importance of building strong linkages between local and international business communities.
