Girls’ education vital for Balochistan’s progress: BCSW Chairperson Kiran Baloch
Chairperson of the Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women (BCSW), Kiran Baloch, welcomed the initiatives taken by Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, to provide educational opportunities for girls. She said that focusing on girls’ education is essential for building a developed, enlightened, and prosperous society.
She emphasized that education is every girl’s fundamental right, and by ensuring access to quality educational facilities, not only can the foundation for their bright future be laid, but pathways for women’s economic and social empowerment can also be created. For Balochistan’s progress, it is vital that girls are given equal opportunities in education so they can utilize their abilities and play an effective role in the province’s development.
Kiran Baloch stated that the government’s measures to promote girls’ education are commendable. She reaffirmed that BCSW will continue to play its role in protecting the rights of women and girls, ensuring access to educational opportunities, and promoting gender equality.
