Fitness club inaugurated at Balochistan constabulary headquarters
A fitness club has been inaugurated at Badr Line Headquarters of the Balochistan Constabulary to ensure that personnel remain physically fit, healthy, and fully prepared to perform their professional duties.
The inauguration was carried out by Additional IGP and Commandant Balochistan Constabulary Ashfaq Ahmed, with Deputy Commandant DIG Police Shehla Qureshi, SSP Headquarters Kamal Khan Kabzai, wing commanders, and other officers in attendance.
Addressing the personnel, DIG Shehla Qureshi emphasized that physical fitness and well-being are vital components of professional performance. She said all available resources would be utilized to maintain the fitness of constabulary personnel. The fitness club, she noted, will enhance physical capacity and enable personnel to discharge their responsibilities with greater vigilance, efficiency, and professionalism.
Shehla Qureshi further announced that sports grounds and fitness clubs across Balochistan Constabulary lines will be expanded and equipped with modern facilities to provide a healthy environment for positive activities. Weekly sports events will also be organized to encourage participation. She added that welfare measures would extend to the education and health of personnel’s children, ensuring access to basic facilities.
She stressed that hygiene standards in lines, messes, and canteens must be strictly maintained, with regular monitoring of food quality, fitness, and sports activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Ashfaq Ahmed said that Balochistan Constabulary personnel are entrusted with critical responsibilities of maintaining law and order and protecting lives and property. Therefore, their physical fitness and health remain a top institutional priority. He assured that modern fitness and sports facilities would continue to be provided so that personnel remain fully prepared for all types of duties.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, officers inspected the fitness club’s facilities and expressed determination to further improve the amenities available to constabulary personnel.
