Finance Minister visits B‑TEVTA office, reviews technical training initiatives

 

Quetta, Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani visited the office of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B‑TEVTA), where he held a detailed meeting with Managing Director Abdul Kabir Zarkoon. Head of the Public‑Private Partnership Unit Dr. Noor Muhammad, B‑TEVTA directors, and other officials were also present.

 

During the meeting, the Minister was briefed on B‑TEVTA’s current performance, ongoing technical and vocational training programs across the province, and future strategies. It was agreed to fully operationalize the Technical Training Centre (TTC) in Kharan and introduce new trades tailored to local needs.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani said that Chief Minister Balochistan has issued clear directives to equip the province’s youth with modern, quality technical education and create employment opportunities. He added that to promote self‑employment among the youth of Kharan, entrepreneurship initiatives and a “Qarz‑e‑Hasna Scheme” will also be introduced, enabling trained individuals to start dignified livelihoods.

 

MD B‑TEVTA Abdul Kabir Zarkoon informed the Minister about the authority’s new projects and assured that in the near future, additional modern trades and essential technical training will be offered in line with market demand, providing youth with better employment opportunities both nationally and internationally.
