Dr. Rubaba Buledi visits women and juvenile facilitation center, stresses stronger institutional support
Advisor to the Chief Minister for Women Development Department Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi visited the Women and Juvenile Facilitation Center on Monday, where she inspected various sections of the facility and reviewed the services being provided to women and juvenile victims.
During the visit, AIG Gender Israr Ahmed Umrani and Center In-charge Shazia Imran briefed the advisor on the center’s operations, including complaint registration, legal assistance, and other support mechanisms available for victims. Dr. Buledi examined the facilities and held discussions with officials regarding different aspects of service delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Buledi said that providing a safe, dignified, and supportive environment for women and children is a key responsibility of the Balochistan government. She emphasized the importance of an effective system to ensure timely legal, social, and institutional assistance for women and juvenile victims.
She noted that centers like the Women and Juvenile Facilitation Center play a crucial role in addressing the challenges faced by women and children and in ensuring their access to justice. Dr. Buledi stressed the need to further strengthen facilities, institutional cooperation, and coordination among relevant departments to enhance the effectiveness of such initiatives.
The advisor reaffirmed that the Women Development Department will continue working with concerned institutions to safeguard women, empower them, and provide practical solutions to the issues they face.
