DC Sibi reviews preparations for Independence Day celebrations in schools
Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kibzai, chaired a meeting to finalize arrangements for Independence Day celebrations in schools across the district. The meeting focused on ensuring that the August 14 festivities are observed with national spirit and dignity.
The session was attended by SSP Sibi Abdul Hameed, Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner Bakhtiarabad Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai, District Education Officer Abdul Sattar Langove, Deputy District Education Officer Sibi Tariq Almas, Deputy District Education Officer Lehri Liaqat Ali Laghari, along with other relevant officials.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed education officers to organize special programs in schools, including national songs, speeches, tableaux, and cultural performances. He emphasized that Independence Day is a significant milestone in Pakistan’s national history and must be celebrated with enthusiasm, unity, and patriotism.
Ilyas Kibzai stressed that students should be actively involved in the events to instill values of patriotism, national solidarity, and love for Pakistan in the younger generation. He urged the use of all available resources to make the celebrations memorable and impactful.
District Education Officer Abdul Sattar Langove briefed the meeting, stating that preparations are already underway and schools across the district will mark Independence Day with full zeal. He added that students will present various programs to make the celebrations vibrant and inspiring.
