DC Quetta reviews arrangements for September 21 polio campaign
Quetta, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini chaired a readiness meeting to finalize arrangements for the upcoming anti‑polio campaign, scheduled to commence on September 21.
The meeting was attended by members of the National EOC, the District Polio Coordinator, relevant officials, and other stakeholders. The session reviewed the campaign plan, team deployment, security arrangements, and operational strategies.
Officials informed the meeting that the campaign aims to administer polio drops to 441,000 children, with the participation of 1,800 vaccination teams. A comprehensive security plan has also been prepared to ensure smooth and safe execution of the drive.
Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini emphasized that all departments must work in close coordination to guarantee vaccine access for every child. He appealed to parents to cooperate with polio teams and ensure their children receive the drops to protect them from lifelong disability.
