CM Sarfraz Bugti commends security forces, Police and ATF for successful operations in Kalat and Bhag Kachhi
Quetta, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has praised the successful operations carried out by security forces in Kalat and by Balochistan Police and the Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) in Bhag Kachhi, describing them as a reflection of the state’s firm resolve against elements hostile to peace.
In his statement, Sarfraz Bugti said the timely and effective actions demonstrated the professionalism and bravery of the forces, thwarting the designs of terrorists. He emphasized that the sacrifices and services of security forces, police, and other law enforcement agencies in establishing peace in Balochistan are a source of pride. “The personnel who safeguard the lives and property of citizens are the true heroes of the nation,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister reiterated that terrorist elements will never succeed in undermining Balochistan’s peace, progress, and prosperity. He stressed that the provincial government is pursuing a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, and operations will continue until its complete eradication.
Sarfraz Bugti noted that the successful action by Balochistan Police and ATF in Bhag Kachhi once again proved the capability of law enforcement agencies to confront any challenge. He added that such operations further strengthen public confidence in the institutions.
He underlined that the fight against terrorism is not the responsibility of one institution alone but a collective struggle of the entire nation. “Under Azm-e-Istehkam, national efforts to eliminate terrorism will continue, and the journey of peace and development in Balochistan will be advanced at all costs. No leniency will be shown to those who challenge the writ of the state,” Bugti asserted.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the officers and personnel who took part in the operations, affirming that the entire nation stands united with its brave forces and law enforcement agencies in the struggle for lasting peace.
