CM Bugti orders state-funded treatment for former international footballer Muhammad Essa

On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government has initiated state-funded medical treatment for former international footballer Muhammad Essa, who is currently under care at Ziauddin Hospital, Karachi.

 

Shahid Rind, Aide to the Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs, said that the government of Balochistan is committed to the welfare and healthcare of former national and international sports personalities.

 

Shahid Rind noted that Chief Minister Bugti had specifically instructed that all medical expenses for Muhammad Essa’s treatment be borne by the provincial government. He added that during the footballer’s illness, the government extended full support to ensure his treatment was carried out without financial burden.

 

Highlighting the government’s broader vision, Shahid Rind said that Balochistan values the contributions of sports figures and continues to take steps for their welfare. He emphasized that the province recognizes the services of athletes as a source of pride and inspiration for society.
