CM Bugti meets Federal Railways Minister, welcomes launch of Balochistan’s first metro train service
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti met Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Quetta, where the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including the launch of Balochistan’s first metro train service.
Both expressed satisfaction over the inauguration of the Jinnah Metro Train Service in Quetta. Federal Minister Abbasi congratulated the Chief Minister on the successful launch, noting that Balochistan had taken the lead over other provinces by introducing this modern transport facility. He praised the provincial government’s commitment to public welfare and lauded the project as a landmark achievement.
Chief Minister Bugti thanked the Ministry of Railways for its cooperation, stating that the Jinnah Metro Train Service marks the beginning of a new era of modern and reliable travel facilities in Balochistan. He added that the completion of this project is a significant step in improving public transport, ensuring citizens have access to safe, affordable, and dependable travel.
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the provincial government remains committed to enhancing public transport infrastructure and that the metro train service reflects the government’s dedication to providing modern facilities for the people of Balochistan.
