CM Balochistan reaffirms support for Kashmiris’ right to self‑determination

 

Balochistan stands firm with Kashmiris, Bugti vows continued political and diplomatic support

 

QUETTA, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti met with Hassan Banna, leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, to discuss the latest situation in Indian‑occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self‑determination, and the broader regional context.

 

During the meeting, Hassan Banna appreciated the Balochistan government and the Chief Minister’s consistent stance and efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue at every level, as well as their expression of solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

 

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reiterated that the Kashmir dispute remains an unresolved international conflict that must be settled in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions. He stressed that a fair and lasting solution is impossible without granting the Kashmiri people their fundamental right to self‑determination.

 

He affirmed that Pakistan and the people of Balochistan have always stood by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will continue to extend political, diplomatic, and moral support in the future. The Chief Minister praised the Kashmiri people’s unparalleled sacrifices, noting that their struggle for freedom remains alive and will not go in vain.

 

Sarfraz Bugti urged the international community to take serious notice of ongoing human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and to play an effective role in ensuring that the Kashmiri people are allowed to decide their future in line with UN resolutions.
