CM Balochistan hails Pakistan Navy on successful weapons test of PNS/M Hangor Submarine
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti congratulated the Pakistan Navy and its leadership on the successful first live weapons firing by the newly inducted submarine PNS/M Hangor, praising the achievement as a reflection of the country’s robust defense capability and professional preparedness.
In his statement, the Chief Minister noted that the submarine’s successful launch of an anti‑ship cruise missile, which accurately struck a long‑range target, demonstrated the extraordinary operational readiness, professional skill, and advanced combat capability of Pakistan Navy’s submarine force.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces possess the full capacity to counter all challenges in defense of the nation and protection of national security. He described the successful firing as a clear manifestation of the country’s defensive strength and professional excellence.
He also lauded the professional performance of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with the officers, personnel, and crew associated with the induction and operationalization of PNS/M Hangor. Extending his best wishes to naval officers and sailors, the Chief Minister said the nation takes pride in the professional competence and services of its armed forces in safeguarding the homeland.
