Business Facilitation Center processes 2,902 applications in first six months, boosting investment environment in Balochistan
In line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Business Facilitation Center (BFC) established under the Balochistan Board of Investment has made significant progress in its first six months of operation, providing streamlined services to the business community and investors.
According to available data, the BFC processed a total of 2,902 applications during this period, approving 347 requests and issuing the required RLCOs. This achievement reflects the provincial government’s efforts to simplify and accelerate business and investment procedures through a single platform.
Vice Chairman Balochistan Board of Investment Bilal Khan Kakar described the establishment of the BFC as a major step toward improving the business environment in the province. He emphasized that the government’s objective is to free investors and entrepreneurs from unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles by ensuring transparent, efficient, and accessible service delivery. He added that while the initial performance of the BFC is encouraging, further improvements in processing and approvals are being pursued to create a more conducive environment for investment and business growth.
Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Qaim Lashari, highlighted that the core purpose of the BFC is to provide a one‑window facility, eliminating the complexities of inter‑departmental coordination. He noted that the processing of 2,902 applications and issuance of 347 RLCOs within six months demonstrates the center’s rapid progress toward its mission. Lashari further stated that continuous measures are being taken to enhance the quality, speed, and transparency of services.
He underscored that Balochistan holds vast investment potential, and the BFC is playing a pivotal role in equipping investors with the necessary facilities and guidance to capitalize on these opportunities. The Balochistan Board of Investment and the Business Facilitation Center will continue to strengthen their role in promoting investment, easing business activities, and creating new employment opportunities across the province.
