BBOIT Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar meets defence minister Khawaja Asif, discusses investment promotion in Balochistan
Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBOIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, held a meeting with Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif to deliberate on measures for promoting investment, facilitating businesses, and creating a conducive environment for investors in Balochistan.
During the meeting, Bilal Khan Kakar briefed the Defence Minister on the Board’s initiatives for business facilitation, investor support, protection of investments, and the establishment of a favorable climate for both local and international investors. He highlighted BBOIT’s ongoing efforts to strengthen investor confidence and streamline processes for economic growth in the province.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif appreciated BBOIT’s role in advancing investment opportunities and providing facilities to the business community. He assured full cooperation from the federal government to the Government of Balochistan in order to accelerate investment projects and further consolidate investor trust. He emphasized that foreign investment in Balochistan could pave new avenues of development and prosperity, adding that the federal government is committed to bringing Balochistan at par with other provinces in terms of progress.
Bilal Khan Kakar thanked the Defence Minister for his support, stressing that effective coordination and collaboration between federal and provincial governments is vital to removing obstacles, boosting business activities, and harnessing Balochistan’s vast economic potential. He reaffirmed that BBOIT remains dedicated to promoting investment, enhancing ease of doing business, and providing a reliable system for investors.
