Balochistan Police signs landmark MoUs for education and health facilities of personnel and families

Quetta, Balochistan Police has signed two significant agreements aimed at the welfare of its personnel and their families, ensuring enhanced facilities and financial relief in the fields of education and healthcare. Separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with the Balochistan Private Schools Association Alliance and Corporate Health Services (CHS).

Under the agreement with the Private Schools Association, children of serving and deceased police employees will be granted a 30 percent concession in tuition fees, while the children of police martyrs will be exempted from tuition fees altogether. Additional concessions will also be provided in admission fees, examination charges, and other institutional expenses. DIG Headquarters Tahir Alauddin stated that the partnership is designed to provide police families with access to quality education and to recognize the services of police personnel by supporting their children’s educational needs.

In a parallel development, Balochistan Police signed an MoU with Corporate Health Services to provide quality medical facilities at discounted rates. Police personnel and their families will receive up to 40 percent discounts on radiology and diagnostic tests, and up to 10 percent concessions on hospital bills at CHS‑affiliated hospitals. DIG Headquarters Tahir Alauddin described these agreements as a milestone for the welfare of police employees, noting that the department is committed to improving the living standards of its personnel.

As part of the health package, digital health cards will be issued to police employees, their parents, and families, enabling easy access to medical services. In collaboration with SSP Traffic Quetta, drug screening and testing facilities will also be provided at designated CHS centers. The package includes discounted outpatient and consultant services, medical camps, vaccinations, first aid training, emergency medical assistance, and pharmacy services.

The initiative aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare on police families while ensuring timely access to quality medical facilities. Police personnel have welcomed these measures in education and health, terming them a vital relief that will contribute positively to their social and economic well‑being.
