Balochistan moving towards peace, development and prosperity under CM Bugti’s leadership: Babar Yousafzai
QUETTA, Assistant to the Balochistan Home Department Babar Yousafzai has said that under the prudent, visionary and people-centric leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Balochistan is steadily advancing towards development, stability and prosperity.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, he described the improving law and order situation in the province as a positive development and reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to transforming Balochistan into a peaceful, stable and progressive province.
Yousafzai said the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, was taking practical steps to address public issues, improve access to basic services and enhance the quality of life for ordinary citizens. He added that the government’s principal objective was to ensure that the benefits of development reached every segment of society, while creating opportunities for youth and providing the people of Balochistan with a safer and brighter future.
He said the establishment of lasting peace remained the government’s foremost priority. He paid tribute to the security forces, police and law enforcement agencies for their sacrifices in safeguarding public safety and maintaining law and order.
“The sacrifices of our brave personnel are a proud chapter in our national history,” he said, adding that the entire nation salutes its martyrs and veterans whose commitment and sacrifices continue to pave the way for peace and stability in the province.
The adviser noted that Chief Minister Bugti’s vision extended beyond development projects and was focused on public welfare, reducing feelings of deprivation, empowering youth, improving education and healthcare facilities and bringing backward areas into the national development mainstream.
He said the provincial government was committed to ensuring equal development opportunities for all citizens and making effective use of public resources for the welfare of the people.
Babar Yousafzai maintained that the government was fully aware of public concerns and was utilising all available resources to resolve them. Addressing public grievances, improving the performance of government institutions, generating employment opportunities and expanding access to essential services remained among its top priorities, he added.
He further said that the challenges facing Balochistan could not be addressed through statements alone, but required sustained hard work, effective strategies, institutional cooperation and the restoration of public trust. He added that the government was moving forward in that direction and would continue all positive efforts in the larger interest of the province.
Emphasising the importance of unity and collective action, Babsr Yousafzai said peace, harmony, tolerance and development must remain the shared agenda for securing a brighter future for Balochistan. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, with the sacrifices of security institutions and the support of the people, peace would be further strengthened, development activities accelerated and the province would achieve new milestones of progress and prosperity.
He reaffirmed that public service, the establishment of durable peace and building a better future for the people of Balochistan would remain the government’s foremost priorities.
