Balochistan government strives to energize entire economy: Bilal Kakar
Quetta, Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Investment Board, Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is working to energize the entire economy rather than relying on a single sector or mega project.
Speaking to business representatives at his office, he emphasized that the government’s goal is to create an economic environment where local enterprises can flourish, youth shift from seeking jobs to creating employment opportunities, and investors view Balochistan as a reliable business destination.
Bilal Kakar noted that Balochistan’s greatest strength lies in its extraordinary economic potential. From minerals to the coastal economy, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, tourism, and technology, every sector offers scope for new business models. He stressed the need to transform these opportunities from files and reports into actionable projects.
He added that the Investment Board’s priority is not merely to attract investment but to ensure its success. For this purpose, investors must be provided with accurate information, timely guidance, and easy access to institutions.
