Balochistan announces increase in special conveyance allowance for disabled government employees

QUETTA, Sep 17 (APP):The Balochistan government has announced a significant increase in the special conveyance allowance for disabled government employees, raising the monthly benefit from Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, the revised allowance will take effect from July 1, 2026. The special conveyance allowance will be provided in addition to the regular conveyance allowance already available to employees.

The notification further clarified that the allowance will be granted to government employees recruited under the disabled quota as well as those officially declared disabled by a medical board.

Officials emphasized that the measure reflects the provincial government’s commitment to supporting employees with disabilities and ensuring they receive adequate financial assistance to meet their mobility needs.
