APS students present historic stamp collection to Governor Balochistan
Quetta, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail received a rare and historic collection of postal stamps from students of Army Public School Seven Streams during a meeting at Governor House Quetta.
Led by Syed Kashif Hussain, students Abdullah, Abdur Rahman, and Abdur Raheem presented a compilation of stamps issued between 1947 and 2026, all related to Pakistan’s armed forces. This unique collection, never assembled before, revives the hobby of stamp collecting, once considered obsolete, and has been hailed as a remarkable achievement for both the students and their school.
The students credited their parents, principals, and teachers for guidance and encouragement, noting that their success highlights the importance of mentorship in educational institutions. Governor Mandokhail praised the initiative, calling it a source of pride for Balochistan and an inspiration for youth to engage in constructive and creative pursuits.
