Advisor to CM Balochistan visits trauma centre, praises digital health system
Quetta, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Women’s Development, Dr. Rababa Khan Buledi, visited the Benazir Bhutto Emergency Response Trauma Centre in Quetta, where she inspected various wards and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to patients.
During the visit, Managing Director Dr. Kamran Khan Kasi and Additional Director Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sial briefed Dr. Rubaba Buledi on the centre’s performance, advanced medical facilities, and the fully integrated digital system. Officials informed her that the Trauma Centre operates on a paperless system, with all administrative and medical records digitized. Patients’ complete medical histories are stored in a central database, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and faster access to treatment.
Dr. Rubaba Baledi expressed satisfaction over the modern facilities and digital system, calling the adoption of technology in healthcare a positive step for Balochistan. She noted that paperless and digital systems not only improve administrative efficiency but also play a crucial role in delivering timely and quality medical services to patients.
The Advisor praised the efforts of the Trauma Centre’s management and medical staff, acknowledging their dedication to patient care. She expressed hope that similar digital systems would be introduced across other government hospitals in the province to ensure better healthcare delivery for the public.
Dr. Rubaba Buledi reaffirmed that the provincial government is committed to strengthening the health sector by promoting modern technology, transparency, and efficiency, ultimately ensuring improved medical services for the people of Balochistan.
