Advisor on Women’s Development praises teachers’ role on World Teachers’ Day
Quetta, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Adviser to the Balochistan Chief Minister on Women’s Development, has said that teachers not only impart knowledge but also play a fundamental role in shaping the thinking, character, and future of the younger generation. She emphasized that the services of teachers in the intellectual and social development of society can never be overlooked.
In her statement issued on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi highlighted the valuable contributions of teachers in Balochistan, particularly those working in remote areas under limited resources and difficult circumstances. She said their dedication and hard work deserve respect and appreciation.
She underscored the vital role of female teachers in promoting girls’ education, noting that an educated girl becomes a source of positive change for her family and society, with teachers playing a central role in this journey.
The Adviser added that the Balochistan government is focusing on improving the education system, providing basic facilities in schools, enhancing teachers’ professional capacity, and raising the standard of teaching. She added that making educational institutions functional and teaching processes effective is essential for promoting quality education in the province.
Dr. Rubaba Buledi further stressed that modern training, a better learning environment, and necessary facilities for teachers are crucial for improving educational standards, as quality education is directly linked to a capable and empowered teaching system. She concluded that the impact of teachers’ efforts extends far beyond the classroom and influences generations, making respect and recognition of teachers’ services a hallmark of a civilized and knowledge-friendly society.
