Balochistan showcased at Pakistan Economic Summit 2026
Islamabad, Vice Chairman Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, represented Balochistan at the Pakistan Economic Summit 2026 held at the Islamabad. The summit was jointly organized by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the United Business Forum. Former Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Alauddin Marri, FPCCI leadership, and senior officials of BBoIT accompanied him.
The summit brought together representatives of federal and provincial institutions, business leaders, investors, industrialists, trade organizations, and experts from diverse fields. Discussions focused on Pakistan’s economic growth, promotion of investment, strengthening of trade, expansion of industry, boosting exports, enhancing the role of the private sector, and fostering sustainable economic development through collaboration.
On the sidelines, Bilal Khan Kakar held meetings with national business leaders, investors, and industrial representatives. He highlighted Balochistan’s vast investment opportunities in minerals, energy, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, tourism, special economic zones, and the strategic importance of Gwadar.
Kakar stated that under the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is committed to promoting investment, industrial development, trade stability, and creating new employment opportunities. He emphasized that participation in national‑level forums not only projects Balochistan’s positive image but also builds effective linkages with domestic and international investors, paving the way for future investment and economic cooperation.
Reaffirming his commitment, the Vice Chairman said the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade will continue efforts to strengthen the province’s investment climate and position Balochistan as a vital hub of national economic growth in line with government policies and the Chief Minister’s vision.
