CM Maryam tells Bilawal to focus on performance instead of allegations after AJK polls

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said allegations would achieve nothing, urging Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to work harder on his party’s narrative and performance following the Azad Jammu and Kashmir local elections.

Congratulating PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and party workers on the party’s victory in the Mirpur Division, she thanked Allah for what she described as the public’s strong vote of confidence in the party.

Maryam said the success was the result of the leadership’s guidance and the tireless efforts of party workers, adding that they deserved full credit for the electoral outcome.

Criticising the PPP, she said the party had used inappropriate language during the election campaign and claimed its public rallies witnessed poor attendance.

Addressing Bilawal Bhutto directly, the chief minister said he should focus on improving his political narrative and performance rather than criticising others.
