District administration Khuzdar holds first women’s open court under CM’s directive
Khuzdar, Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Abdul Razzaq Sasoli chaired the district’s first‑ever women’s open court at the District Council Hall.
Women from across the district participated in large numbers, presenting issues related to electricity, clean drinking water, health, education, sanitation, traffic congestion, drug control, NADRA and revenue matters, land disputes, roads, law and order, and security. Students from universities and colleges also highlighted academic and administrative challenges.
Deputy Commissioner Sasoli reviewed complaints, took immediate notice of several matters, and issued on‑the‑spot directives to relevant officials, stressing that negligence or delay in resolving public grievances would not be tolerated. He affirmed that the administration’s top priority is to provide basic facilities and timely relief, working with all departments to improve peace, education, health, sanitation, water supply, traffic management, and security.
The open court was attended by senior officials including Commandant 3 Division Qalat Scouts Irfan Bangash, SSP Khuzdar Muhammad Baloch, Major Usman of Kalat Scouts, District Education Officer Niazullah Samalani, B&R Executive Engineer Saleem Razzaq Umrani, Excise and Taxation Officer Mir Zakir Bajoi, Deputy Director Agriculture Abdul Qayyum Zehri, MS Teaching Hospital Khuzdar Shabbir Ahmed Mengal, Deputy Director Livestock Dr. Muhammad Anwar Zehri, District Manager PPHI Saddam Hussain, District Sports Officer Ruqayya Ubaid, SDO PHE Muhammad Rahim Lehri, and representatives of other departments.
The initiative provided women with a direct platform to voice concerns and propose solutions. The purpose of the open court was to prioritize women’s issues, improve their access to government institutions, and strengthen communication between citizens and the district administration.
