Gwadar University Pro‑VC highlights academic cooperation at seminar on governance and Pak‑China relations

 

Karachi/Gwadar, Professor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University, participated in a seminar jointly organized by universities of Sindh and Balochistan on global governance and Pakistan‑China relations. The event was attended by vice chancellors and rectors from various universities of both provinces, along with the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Karachi.

 

Discussions focused on strengthening educational cooperation between Pakistan and China, promoting higher education, expanding academic and research collaboration, initiating faculty and student exchanges, and fostering institutional linkages among universities.

 

Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed underscored Gwadar University’s commitment to advancing Pak‑China academic ties, noting that Gwadar’s strategic importance offers vast opportunities to expand educational, intellectual, and institutional relations between the two countries. He emphasized that higher education, joint research, and exchange programs can give new dimensions to bilateral cooperation.

 

His participation reflected Gwadar University’s resolve to enhance regional and international academic linkages, promote collaboration in teaching and research, and further strengthen the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China. Such academic and diplomatic engagements are expected to play a vital role in joint progress in higher education and in deepening people‑to‑people ties between the two nations.
