Commissioner’s office inaugurated at Lasbela Divisional Headquarters Uthal

 

Lasbela, Commissioner Lasbela Division, Saira Atta, inaugurated the Commissioner’s Office at the divisional headquarters in Uthal, fulfilling a longstanding demand of the local population. The ceremony was attended by government officials, community elders, and people from various walks of life.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Saira Atta said that the establishment and activation of the Commissioner’s Office at Uthal marks an important milestone for the people of Lasbela Division. She noted that strengthening the administrative structure at the divisional headquarters would provide citizens with easier access to government services and spare them the need to travel long distances to resolve their issues.

 

She emphasized that the provision of improved administrative facilities, good governance, transparency, and timely resolution of public grievances would be ensured by utilizing all available resources. The Commissioner added that the office would enhance coordination among districts, improve monitoring of development projects, and strengthen the implementation of government policies aimed at public welfare.

 

Commissioner Saira Atta praised the provincial government’s initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti to make the administrative system more effective and people‑friendly. She said that the activation of the divisional headquarters in Uthal would accelerate administrative processes and improve public access to government institutions.

 

Local residents and community leaders expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan, and the provincial government for fulfilling their longstanding demand of strengthening the divisional administrative system and establishing the Commissioner’s Office in Uthal. They described Lasbela Division as a region of strategic importance due to its natural resources, coastal belt, industrial activity, and geographic significance, and said that a strong administrative system would open new avenues of development.

 

Community elders expressed hope that Lasbela Division would usher in a new era of progress and prosperity in Balochistan, with effective administrative oversight, improved public services, and good governance accelerating the pace of development. They also pledged to work alongside the government and district administration for the welfare, stability, and advancement of the region.
