IG Balochistan visits Killa Saifullah, reviews security situation and police performance
Quetta, Inspector General of Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir has said that ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property and providing them a peaceful, crime‑free environment is the foremost responsibility of the provincial police. He urged officers and personnel to discharge their duties with full commitment and professionalism.
He expressed these views during his visit to Killa Saifullah, where he met police officers and personnel. DIG Sohail Khalid, SSP Pishin Captain (R) Naveed Alam, and other senior officers accompanied him. The IG was given a detailed briefing on the security situation and law‑and‑order measures in the area by DIG Zhob.
During the visit, IG Muhammad Tahir directed police officials to continue effective measures for public safety, maintenance of peace, and crime prevention. Upon arrival in Killa Saifullah, a smartly turned‑out police contingent presented a salute to the IG, who also laid floral wreaths at the Martyrs’ Monument to pay tribute to fallen officers.
,The IG inspected the police station in Bostan, reviewed its performance, and held meetings with police personnel. Commendation certificates were distributed among officers who demonstrated outstanding performance.
