Section 144 imposed on N-25 to ensure smooth traffic flow
Quetta, The Balochistan government has enforced Section 144 on the N-25 National Highway in Sorab, Khuzdar, and Wadh to prevent protests, sit-ins, and road blockages that disrupt traffic flow. The decision was announced by Babar Yousafzai, Assistant to the Balochistan Home Department.
According to the announcement, a three-month ban has been imposed on activities that obstruct the free movement of traffic along the highway. Yousafzai emphasized that uninterrupted travel on national highways is among the government’s top priorities, noting that closures of N-25 cause severe difficulties for patients, travelers, traders, and transporters.
He added that effective measures are being taken to ease public hardships and maintain traffic flow. District administrations and police have been directed to ensure strict implementation of Section 144.
Babar Yousafzai further stated that the rule of law and maintenance of peace will be ensured at all costs. He reaffirmed that the Government of Balochistan is committed to public convenience, safety, and the uninterrupted movement of traffic on national highways.
