Chief Minister meets JUI leader to discuss peace and stability in Balochistan
Quetta, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti held a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s provincial chief, Maulana Abdul Wasay, to review the province’s law and order situation, overall political and social conditions, and matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that establishing sustainable peace in Balochistan is the government’s foremost priority. He noted that the constructive role of political, social, and religious leadership is vital in achieving this goal. He stressed that the entire nation must stand united against terrorism and anti-peace elements to ensure lasting stability in the province.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti further said that the government is utilizing all available resources to safeguard the lives and property of citizens, while effective measures are being implemented to improve law and order. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing development, prosperity, and the rule of law in partnership with all relevant stakeholders.
Maulana Abdul Wasay underscored the need for collective efforts to establish peace and stability, highlighting that the resolution of Balochistan’s challenges lies in mutual consultation, political harmony, and national unity.
