Gwadar MPA discusses development projects with GDA DG
Gwadar, Member Provincial Assembly Gwadar Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman met Director General Gwadar Development Authority, Moin-ur-Rehman Khan at his office to review ongoing development projects in the city, particularly those initiated in Surbandar and matters related to urban cleanliness and beautification.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer GDA Haji Syed Muhammad, Assistant Director Municipal Wing Yahya Wadela, and MPA’s PA Waseem Samad.
Discussions covered the progress of development schemes in Gwadar’s Old Town, as well as proposed and ongoing projects in Surbandar, including the construction and expansion of link roads, causeway development, and allied works related to the fish landing jetty.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman emphasized effective arrangements for cleanliness and beautification along Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi Road (Airport Road), especially at Ghatti Dhor, to present a clean and attractive view to citizens and visitors entering the city.
It was also agreed in principle that the sweeping machine available with GDA would be placed under the use of the Municipal Committee Gwadar to strengthen the city’s sanitation system. Relevant officials will establish a formal mechanism to ensure improved cleanliness of major roads, intersections, and public spaces.
