District administration establishes digital IT Lab at MCKRU under BSDI in Sibi

Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kibzai, visited Mir Chakar Khan Rind University (MCKRU) where he held a detailed meeting with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mumtaz Ali Baloch. Assistant Commissioner Sibi, Mir Bahadur Khan Bangulzai, along with other officials, were also present during the visit.

During the tour, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the newly established Digital IT Lab at the university, developed under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). The lab has been equipped with 55 modern laptops, two LED screens, a solar power system, and air conditioners, providing students with advanced educational and technological facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Major (R) Ilyas Kibzai said that the establishment of the Digital IT Lab at MCKRU is a significant step forward for students of the region, enabling them to benefit from modern technology. He emphasized that the Government of Balochistan is committed to raising educational standards and aligning students with contemporary requirements, adding that further measures will be taken to improve educational and technical infrastructure in Sibi.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mumtaz Ali Baloch expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner, noting that the lab will greatly assist students in research and modern academic activities.
