CM Sarfraz Bugti hails security forces’ success; reaffirms operations against anti‑state elements will continue until their complete elimination

 

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has lauded the successful operations of security forces in Shaban, Noshki, and Mand, declaring that their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism are a source of pride for the nation.

 

According to the Chief Minister, during Operation Shaban, security forces effectively cleared multiple terrorist hideouts, killing 33 terrorists. He added that in the past 72 hours, another 23 terrorists were eliminated. In Noshki, an intelligence‑based operation resulted in the killing of 11 terrorists, while in Mand, six militants affiliated with Fitna‑e‑Hindustan were neutralized. Large caches of arms and ammunition were also recovered during the actions.

 

Sarfraz Bugti stated that in the last 96 hours, more than 71 terrorists have been eliminated across Balochistan, marking a significant breakthrough in ongoing counter‑terrorism efforts. He emphasized that by targeting terrorist sanctuaries, security forces have reduced threats to local communities and thwarted attempts to destabilize the province.

 

“The enemies of peace cannot succeed in spreading unrest in Balochistan,” he said, adding that the people of the province stand firmly alongside security forces and law enforcement agencies in the mission to restore peace. He reaffirmed that operations against anti‑state elements will continue until their complete elimination.

 

The Chief Minister underscored that under the National Action Plan and the vision of Azm‑e‑Istihkam, the national resolve against terrorism remains unwavering. He stressed that the sacrifices and efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies will ensure the establishment of lasting peace in Balochistan.
