Hot, dry weather to persist across Balochistan; isolated thunderstorms expected in northern districts
The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has reported that continental air is prevailing over most parts of Balochistan, with mainly hot and dry weather expected across the province during the next 48–72 hours.
According to the district weather chart, the maximum temperature recorded was 42°C in Turbat, while the minimum stood at 28°C in Kalat. In Quetta, the temperature was recorded at 32°C, with RMC Quetta showing 31°C, Samungli and Sariab at 30°C, Lasbella at 39°C, Uthal at 38°C, Pasni at 35°C, Gwadar at 32°C, Jiwani at 33°C, and Ormara at 31°C.
The forecast indicates that partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms are likely in Barkhan, Musakhail, Rakni, Dera Bugti, Zhob, and adjoining areas. Occasional gusty winds are also expected in some parts of the province.
The Meteorological Center emphasized that hot and dry conditions will dominate most districts, while localized weather activity may bring relief in northern and eastern areas.
