Governor Mandokhail urges practical action from 21st National Workshop Balochistan participants
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that the true success of the 21st National Workshop Balochistan lies in transforming collective wisdom into practical action. Addressing the concluding session of the workshop, he congratulated the organizers and participants, noting that through expert knowledge, experience, and dialogue, the workshop provided a deeper understanding of the challenges facing Balochistan and Pakistan.
The Governor emphasized that participants’ responsibilities have increased as they return to their institutions, sectors, and communities. He urged them to utilize the knowledge and insights gained to bring about positive change, create employment and skill‑building opportunities for youth, strengthen social justice, and address economic instability through joint and sustainable strategies.
Highlighting Balochistan’s strategic importance, Mandokhail said the province has the geographical capacity to connect Pakistan with Central Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. From Gwadar and other coastal areas to mineral and agricultural regions, Balochistan can play a vital role in national economic development and regional connectivity. He stressed that the province’s vast territory, unique location, long coastline, natural resources, and mineral wealth make it exceptionally significant for Pakistan.
He pointed out that opportunities exist in blue economy, minerals, energy, agriculture, tourism, and regional trade, and that intellectual gatherings such as the National Workshop are not merely forums for information exchange but platforms for combining diverse experiences and perspectives to develop new ideas and practical solutions to national issues.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Governor Jaffar Mandokhail distributed certificates and commemorative shields among the participants. Brigadier Khaqan Sarwar was also present on the occasion.
