Quetta Administration reviews losses from recent blasts to compile records of damages sustained by individuals, buildings, vehicles, shops, and other properties
Quetta, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, chaired a high-level meeting to comprehensively assess the human and material losses caused by recent explosions in the city. The session brought together officials and representatives from relevant departments to compile records of damages sustained by individuals, buildings, vehicles, shops, and other properties, with a focus on preparing a final consolidated report.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), as well as officers from the Health Department, Municipal Management Department, Social Welfare, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and other concerned institutions. Each department presented available data and records from their respective domains.
Detailed reviews were conducted of incidents at Pishin Stop, Chaman Phatak, and other blast sites. Officials briefed the meeting on casualties, injured persons, affected families, and damage to public and private infrastructure. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that all departments coordinate their records to produce accurate, complete, and verifiable data, so that no victim or property is left unaccounted for.
Deputy Commissioner Badini directed officials to expedite the survey and compilation process, stressing that all departments must work in close coordination to gather comprehensive information. He instructed that records should clearly categorize fatalities, injuries, and property damages, supported by official documents, field reports, and other verified sources.
He noted that a complete and authentic report will be instrumental in shaping the future course of action for relief and rehabilitation. Departments were urged to submit their findings within the stipulated timeframe to the district administration, enabling a precise assessment of the overall situation and effective planning for assistance to victims and restoration of damaged assets.
The meeting concluded with instructions for all departments to accelerate the verification process and present a consolidated report to the district administration at the earliest.
